But how did it actually come about? It all began when DASCOLI Pharma AG approached us, Sainfort Production AG, with a special request. We were looking for cannabis flowers of type 3 according to the new monograph (PH EUR 3028), which have a high THC content and at the same time must not exceed a maximum CBD content of 1%. Particularly exciting: this variety should also be suitable for export.
The development of the "Permanent Marker" required a great deal of commitment and time. First, a series of comprehensive analyses were carried out to ensure that the flowers not only deliver a high THC content, but are also tested for purity and quality. Thanks to the meticulous work of our production teams, we were finally able to take the decisive final steps. The new flowers fulfill the monograph PH EUR 3028 for "Cannabis Flower". This means they are suitable for inhalation applications with medical vaporizers at the highest purity level.
Trimming and meticulous quality control played an important role here. As part of the approval process, the analyses not only showed a THC content of 31.41 %, but also an identity check without any objections and a purity of 0.0 % foreign substances. Even details such as the length of remaining leaf tips (maximum 1 cm) and the absence of microseeds were successfully validated.
The "Permanent Marker" is now available in the Stauffacher pharmacy in Zurich, which also belongs to Dascoli Pharma AG. Anyone who receives a medical prescription for cannabis can therefore obtain their flowers directly there.
