Cannabis still gets a bad rap despite being one of the oldest crops in the world. Clothing, paper, food and fuel have been made from the fibers of the hemp plant for years.
What is CBD?
CBD is a cannabinoid found in female hemp and, along with THC, one of the main active ingredients in cannabis. Unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive.
How does CBD work?
CBD does not make you high, but has a relaxing effect on the body. It can also help with health problems or provide relief. For example, help with inflammation and inflammation-related pain, epilepsy, schizophrenic psychoses, stress, burnout, sleep disorders, migraines and menstrual cramps. Tests are also currently underway to see if CBD can help fight breast cancer and multiple sclerosis. However, there are still no long-term studies that can prove a clear attributable effect.
Why does CBD work so well?
There are over 100 cannabinoids that can affect the human nervous system. The so-called cannabinoid receptors are located in the central nervous system, in the immune, digestive and reproductive systems. Cannabinoids help with food regulation, fine motor skills, orientation and sensory perception.
Can I safely consume CBD products if I have health problems?

Is CBD legal?
Extracts from industrial hemp are legal in Switzerland. The cultivation of about 40 varieties of Cannabis Sativa, which have a THC content < 1%, are permitted as aromatic oils. The customer decides how the CBD oil is used. Be careful if you have a hemp allergy. It is also not recommended to drive after consuming this product as it may affect driving ability. Consumption and possession of this product outside of Switzerland may result in criminal prosecution.
What happens if I'm stopped by the police?
Legal CBD tobacco substitutes can hardly be distinguished from illegal cannabis products in terms of appearance and smell. Confiscation by the police cannot therefore be ruled out. According to current practice, the CBD tobacco substitute is returned to the owner after a laboratory analysis. Costs for the laboratory analysis or a fine are not charged.
